I am thinking of buying an OBD2 tool to read and write engine mapping from Peugeot and Citroen cars with EDC16. And my friend recommended me Careucar to me. So I am wondering if can recommend me a device to get the job done? Then I give them a email and They soon gave me the answer.
They told me that do not have a tool that especially designed to read and write engine mapping with Peugeot and Citroen cars. But they have two device that can do this. They are KTAG ECU programming tool and KESS V2 ECU tuning kit.
KTAG K-TAG is designed to meet our customers need and is known as inexpensive but reliable. It is compatiable with dozens of auto protocols, including SKODA BOSCH EDC16, CBMW BOSCH EDC16, PEUGEOT BOSCH EDC16 and CITROEN BOSCH EDC16C.
Different from KTAG, KESS V2 is a professional oriented tool. It supports all major brands and protocols you can find, including that for Peugeot and Citroen. As a professional tool, it supports more functions and languages than KTAG, and is of course more expensive than KTAG.
